This story is based on the actual event. Happened in South Korea at 11 pm on the evening of April 3, 1997.

The Case of Itaewon Homicide

The Case of Itaewon Homicide is a 2009 South Korean film, based on a true story, which shocked Korea when college student Jo Jong-Pil was found dead at an Itaewon Burger King in 1997. Two teenagers, Arthur Patterson, the son of an American service member and Korean mother, and Edward Lee, became suspects but were eventually freed due lack of evidence and the case was never solved. At the time the military investigation team focused on Patterson as the most likely suspect. But prosecutors, acting on the results of a lie detector test and the theories of experts, indicted Lee for the crime and accused Patterson of merely possessing the weapon and destroying evidence. Lee was sentenced to 20 years in prison on appeal, but the Supreme Court pronounced him not guilty, saying “the statements of Patterson, who was with Lee, lack credibility.” -www.japancinema.net.com-

P/s : Bila tengok cerita ni, aku cuba letakkan diri, kalau aku one of victim's family member. I really pity him since he dead with unjustified. At first i wonder, why they kill Cho as they didn't know each other. But then, they said they killed him just for FUN. Its nonsense. How could you kill people, the innocent people just for fun ? They were insane. In my opinion, both of them were possible murderer. 

And I was happy as I noticed that South Korea reopen the case when this film got a wave attention from South Korean citizen.

Hwa-cha or Helpess

A few days before their wedding, veterinarian Jang Mun-ho (Lee Sun-gyun) and his fiancee Kang Seon-yeong (Kim Min-hee) pull over for coffee at a motorway rest stop on the way to visiting his parents in Andong, southeast of Seoul. However, when Mun-ho returns to the car, Seon-yeong has disappeared and is not reachable on her mobile phone. 

All he can find is a hairpin in the rest stop's toilet. From the mess at her flat in Seoul, it looks as if there has been a break-in. Mystified, Mun-ho then learns from a banker friend, Dong-woo (Kim Min-jae), that Seon-yeong had earlier applied for a bank account but had been turned down when it was discovered she had a history of personal bankruptcy dating back to 2007. 

Investigating her debt history, Mun-ho finds she had been using someone else's name and identity. He persuades his cousin, Kim Jong-geun (Jo Sung-ha), a former police detective sacked for taking bribes, to help find her. Examining her flat, Jong-geun finds she left no fingerprints, had no friends and claimed her mother died two years ago. 

It then turns out that the woman (Cha Soo-yeon) whose identity she assumed two years ago had a debt history and has since vanished. Visiting Seon-yeong's hometown, Jong-geun hears rumors she killed her mother for her insurance money. Seon-yeong's real name is, in fact, Cha Gyeong-seon, and Jong-geun and Mun-ho realize she is now looking to take on another woman's identity. They think they know her possible target.

P/s : Perempuan ni memang messed up hidup dia. She keep changing her identity by using someone else identity. But what more terrific is when she killed the person, who she used their identity. Just aku tak faham, dia finally jumpa lelaki yang memang betul2 sayangkan dia, kenapa dia tak ubah je kehidupan dia dengan lelaki tu. And lelaki tu masih boleh terima dia walaupun dah tahu siapa dia yang sebenarnya. She's damn lucky. haha. Psycho maybe. End up she killed herself.

Black House

During his first day as an insurance investigator, Jeon Joon-oh, receives a phone call from a lady enquiring if a life insurance policy could be collected if someone commits suicide. A few days later Joon-oh is asked to personally come to the home of an insurance policy holder.

When Joon-oh arrives at their home he is greeted by a grim man. They talk for a little while, before the father asks the insurance agent to go into their son’s room and have a talk with him. When the insurance agent opens the son’s door he finds the boy hanging from a noose, dead from an apparent suicide.

The father then shows up Joon-oh’s office and asks for the money pertaining to his son’s life insurance policy. Joon-oh is suspicious of the man and tells him he has to wait until the coroner’s report comes in. The man becomes furious and then leaves. The father returns the next day and the next day and the next day. Finally Joon-oh’s boss decides to pay the man his son’s life insurance policy. Joon-oh’s life doesn’t return to normal and in fact descends further downward because of a stalker that may well be the insurance policy holder that they just paid off.

P/s : Peh cerita ni memang la psycho habis. Yang problem nya bukan bapa budak si mati tu tapi mak dia yang pyscho. Gila ! Overall mungkin nampak kenapa dia bunuh orang, sebab dia nak duit insurance dorang semua. Tapi bagi aku dia membunuh bukan sebab tu pun, tapi bunuh tu macam dah jadi habit dekat dia. Aku tak nampak sebab pun kenapa dia nak duit2 insurance tu.

Cha Yeon Jin is a high school girl whose outwardly normal existence and reticent character masks her true identity: she is a professional assassin who is seeking vengeance for her mother after watching her killed in front of her eyes. She infiltrates SS1, the secret organization that her mother was connected to, by becoming one of their killers, all the while trying to track down her mother's murderer.

Death Bell 2 : Bloody Camp

This film is about a group of high school students and teachers who get locked in the school after the swimming instructor is murdered. In South Korea, the high school student and swimmer Jeong Tae-yeon (Yoon Seung Ah) is found dead in the pool, which is found as a suicide. Two years later, teacher Park Eun-su (Hwang Jung Eum) joins the high school where Tae-yeon's stepsister Lee Se-Hee (Park Ji-yeon) is haunted by nightmarish visions and is bullied by the student Eom Ji-yun (Choi Ah-jin). Eun-su finds it difficult to get respect in the classroom and is backed up by an older teacher, Cha (Kim Su-ro). Se-Hee and her classmates are selected for an elite "study camp" held at the school during the summer break where 30 students study for their university entrance exams. The school's swimming trainer is murdered in the showers, and the words "When an innocent mother is killed, what son would not avenge her death?" found scrawled on a blackboard. A voice warns the students that they'll all be killed unless they can answer who is the murderer and why. The students and teachers find they're locked in the school when more deaths begin to happen.

p/s : Kalu no 1 pun dah best apa ntah lagi no 2 kan. Siapa yang ikut siri 1 perlu tengok siri yang ke 2 ni. Memang best.

White: The Melody of the Curse 

Girl group "Pink Dolls" is always pushed into the background by other popular idols. When the girls release their new song "White" - a remake from unknown origins they become instant sensations. The four members of "Pink Dolls" include Eun-Joo (Ham Eun-Jung), a former break-dancer  Jenny (Jin Se-Yun), a singer insecure with hitting high notes, A-Rang (Choi Ah-Ra), a singer addicted to plastic surgery, and Shin-Ji (May Doni Kim) who can't sing, but is good at rapping and singing. As the group becomes more and more popular, jealousy and competitiveness increases as all the girls tries to become the lead singer. But, when a member becomes the lead singer that person falls victim to a horrible accident, one by one. Eun-Joo then realizes that the song "White" is cursed and she attempts to reveal the secret...

p/s : Cerita ni simple je, cerita pasal idol yang obsessed nak jadi "center".

Kyu-nam works at a run-down pawnshop. When Cho-in walks into the shop one day and tries to use his powers to rob the store, he soon discovers that his special talent doesn’t work on Kyu-nam. Upset by the fact that there is a person whom he cannot control, Cho-in chases Kyu-nam, accidentally killing someone in the process. This begins a confrontation that will push both men to the brink.

p/s : Plot cerita ni lebih kurang macam drama siri jepun, "Orthos no inu". About a man with supernatural abilities. Tapi yang bezanya kuasa mereka tak sama.

On the day the 15-year statute of limitations expired on a high profile serial murder case that claimed the lives of 10 women, a family member of the victim throws himself off the building in front of Choi Hyeong-goo (Jung Jae-young), the detective in charge of the case. Two years later, a man called Lee Doo-seok (Park Si-hoo) publishes a book titled "I am the Murderer" claiming responsibility for the murders that took place 17 years ago. His book becomes a bestseller because of the author’s charming looks and his vivid depiction of the crime. The detective and the self-proclaimed murderer meet face to face on a television debate show. Believing that Lee is nothing but a con artist, Detective Choi renews his search for the ultimate truth. Then another man appears suddenly, claiming he is the real killer.

p/s : Cerita ni pasal serial killer, but lebih kepada macam mana nak tangkap serial killer tu. Biasanya cerita2 macam ni aku lebih suka tengok apa crime yang serial killer tu buat. Tapi tak da pun kisah crime apa yang pembunuh tu buat.

p/s : Seriusly aku suka tengok semua cerita lakonan Tatsuya Fujiwara. He's very talented actor. Usually semua cerita yang dia berlakon ada plot cerita yang menarik dan serius.
